SICK POLICY & PROCEDURES DURING COVID-19

If a child has any of the following symptoms, the parents must inform the school and keep the child at home:

• Low-grade fever of 100.4 F

• Achy body, vomiting, or any usual or unusual symptoms

If a child becomes sick during school hours they will be quarantined in a vacant unused room

and parents will be called to pick them up as soon as possible.

If the child and/or anyone in the child’s family tests positive for COVID-19 and had been in

contact with WelcomeKidz staff or children, school staff and parents will be notified immediately.

Thereafter, the school will be closed and quarantined for two weeks. Parents will be further

notified and guided through every step of the way to assure everyone’s safety.
